I’m thrilled to welcome you to my site.

 

Allow me to introduce myself : my name is Laetissia Morocutti and I’m an aspiring make up artist from Luxembourg.
 

The relationship we have with art is a very personal one. No two stories are alike.

My own journey, that brought me from a masters degree in Art & Culture to the Metamorphoses Make Up School in Strasbourg, helped me to realize which way I wanted to go in the future. The research I had to do for my masters thesis opened my eyes to the rich cultural heritage of african art, especially the various native body art rituals. I was deeply touched by the trust and dependence traditional tribesmen show when they rely on each other to paint mesmerizing patterns on their bodies. This experience made me realize that the thing I admired most about this form of artistic expression was not the make up itself, but the human contact it provided.

For me, it’s about being part of a creative and intimate process together with another person. Art is like an unspoken dialogue, expressed not in words, but in those things that make us human. Our dreams, our emotions, our desires. With my creations, I want to express this idea in a way that is, I hope, interesting and inspiring for everyone.
